With commissions decorating both private houses in London and the country, alongside commercial projects such as restaurants, hotel interiors and private members clubs she is best known for her extensive work on the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex.
The CL Collection is Cindy’s latest venture. “I have so many ideas I have to try and edit myself but I hope others will love this collection as much as I do!’”
Introducing the CL Collection
Interior decorator and artist Cindy Leveson, one of the leading designers in the UK, has drawn on her years of experience and love of drawing and painting to create a collection of wallpapers, wallpaper borders, watercolour pictures, tiles and several collections of bone china. Everything is made in the UK.
Cindy Leveson’s reputation for creating beautiful and timeless interiors has been well established for over 30 years. Beautifully decorated interiors with her signature English country layered style. Comfort is always at the heart of what she does.
The idea of the CL Collection came from some plates Cindy designed especially for her rug launch in collaboration with Shame Studios. When planning a press lunch at the Dickinson gallery in London, Cindy thought it would be fun to design plates with borders taken from her rug designs. She later went on to design bespoke tiles for a client who was desperately looking for delft tiles, but there just weren’t enough of the right tiles available. It was then that Cindy asked whether she could paint them. These designs were not only used on two fireplaces, but on different products throughout the house. Cindy has then gone on to design tiles for two Goodwood cottages, as well as beautiful bespoke dinner services, and much more for private clients.
